Author Topic: Lighter and onburned events?  (Read 584 times)

A lighter.
Quite simple really.
A weapon that burns a player.
Code: [Select]
Onburned-self-Setcolour-Red
Onburned-self-SetcolourFX-Glow
Onburned-Self-Setemmiter-Playerjet
Example of the events above.
It would be great for challenges, It should be Modeled like this and have a opening animation.
It should do 5 damage and have a effect that burns you Like the TF2 flamethrower.

That's how the model should look. discuss below.

I could be wrong, but doesn't Variables V5 have a 'player is burned' value?

And I like the idea of a lighter.

And I like the idea of a lighter.
I know! it would be orginal compared to most of the crap comeing out at the monement.

Er, why did you have events?

I don't think the onBurned is necessary.

You could use one of the various Flamethrower items that exist and then Truce's ifProjectile event.

Like a setaswood event.
Only things with that event on can be burned with the Lighter.
It would be great for challenges.
Picture the sence:
Your in a room. you have no idea how you got there, all the windows are blocked off by planks of heavy looking wood.
You could not lift them,
And you only have your lighter in your invantory.

I say, Truce's is the way to go.
