New Map Idea: Iwo Jima

For those who don't know Iwo Jima was a major conflict sight in the Pacific Isle campaign. The island was isolated and had one of the closest landing strips to Japan. The terrain was desert like, but one side of the isle had a montain that had many tunnels in which the Japanese could hide. I think it's a cool idea. It would not only be fun for WWII theme TDM's but also probally for building on. Let me know what you think and I'm willing to help if necessary. Leave comments as well.

Not really similar at all. Iwo Jima was Desert. Though that map reminds me of Makin Atoll. All it needs is a darker version with a moon in the sky. Still lets focus on the Iwo Jima map idea.

Not all of Iwo Jima was desert. I remember watching a movie in Iwo Jima and it had forests mainly.
