A few days ago when I was in Edmonton (I am in Calgary now.), I tried to buy some TF2 and HL2 for my PS3, SO I found them, walked up to the till and gave them to the clirk. SHe asks, are you over 17? I said, I could be. Since I though she was being sarcastic. THen she asked again, and I said no. So she just says I cannot buy these games. Me mad as hell, ask "Are you serious?" She just yells Next.

Stupid Alberta.

In BC, I could get away with buying that.

-Discuss Alberta's Futureshop idiocy.

you make me facepalm you realise that you should look at why there

this on the box

-Didn't Read Sax's Post-
Why should they care, EB Games doesn't, as long as they make money.

in all of the 50 states you cannot buy a game thats rated m by the esrb buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu uuuuuuuuuuuut if you get your mom or dad to buy it its perfectly ok

EBGames/GameStop does this to any games rated M. They want to make sure their parents know they are playing these games.

It's not even laws its just common sense and good work ethic.

What? Are you handicapped? Please go get banned again or something.
It's not a law, it's just a practice that GameStop/EB Games enforces.
You have to be 17 or older with identification to purchase games rated M.

fixed

also, depends on who's behind the counter.  Some people are nice/desperateforcash enough to sell to anyone with the cash.

Asperger syndrome Is just a way of saying "not as smart as a normal person".

Druggys.

Odd. Nobody at the Future Shop I live near has to show Identification to buy M or AO games. Oh, so they should enforce it in Alberta, but not anywhere else? This store could be on a train to hell.

Oops got confused. Sorry.

There was a law but due to unpopularity it was abolished
