Build stealing. Not a joke.

People come on my server while I'm building and say they're "gonna take my build" And I say "Why?" the respond "haha jk."
It's not funny. People come on my server and do this and I nearly have a heart attack. I work hard on my builds and i'm sure that you do too. I would ban these people but unlike certain hosts I don't ban everyone that does something wrong. Sure your name might be in the build but that still isn't enough.
Another thing is when people ask to save. Saving someones build isn't stealing it. Stealing a build is when you save someone else's build and claim it as your own.

Tl;dr Don't "joke" about stealing someones build. It's not cool.

A good respected player makes a great building, while the crappy stupid one steals the better one because they do not have the skill themselves. Clearly with their idiocy, no one will ever bielive they built it other than their stuffty friends. While the respected, skillful player will not have to worry knowing everyone will bielive him.

Saving a build or even hosting it I don't believe to be a problem.  It's when you host it without crediting the creator or even claiming it as your own that I believe to be when the real problems happen.

I save plenty of builds I like. As inspiration and new building techniques. Or even to use them in a DM.

But not to claim them as mine.

I get people who tell me all the time that some random person stole my build, they often leave my server rather quickly and confused since it doesn't bother me. I mean really, its just a bunch of virtual bricks and if you really want people to know you built something post in the gallery and if you do post in the gallery people will want the save anyways.

What I like is when someone on my server loads one of my builds then tells me that they built it, even better when they load ownership and can't build on it.
