Author Topic: Taking Weapon Mixing ideas (Read 984 times)

Okay, here's the deal: I couldn't make a script or model for my life. But, I will take requests for mixing weapons/tools to make new weapons/tools. Really, I just want to test myself to see if I get the basics. So, here are some things I can do:

Change a projectile
Change a model
Make new versions of the Horse Ray, I.e. A wall-e or airboat Ray. For now, I can only do playertypes. Is there any way to make it turn a victim into a vehicle, such as the jeep?

The new weapon will be named whatever you want it to be named, and will not need any other add-ons downloaded. One thing, though. I'm having trouble making new horse Ray edits, please check out my post in Mod discussion if you think you can help.

There is not, I apologize. If you were to try rather hard and create a whole new playertype using the jeep model, it is conceivable, but I think you would still need the .dsq files and such things to make it even work at all.
A cheater's way would be to mount a jeep shape to a slot on the player and make the player himself invisible but this would be extremely hacky.

It actually is to make a victim into a vehicle. But you can't delete the actual player, so you'd have to hide the body or make it fling into the air out of existence. But it's possible, still.
