the ps3 has like 50 times the graphical power then the lame med range video card of the 360.
and both fall far shorter to PC graphics.
1080p is stuff

That is both true and untrue, both systems have routinely outperformed PCs with their lesser hardware due to it being turned to very specific tasks.

but 1080 is crap compared to what you get out of most good computer monitors.

its a shame that the ps3 is a gaming console at all. i would kill for a pc that could have its power.
that chip is so loving powerful its being incredibly wasted on a television's low capped standards.

I have to agree with you guys on that one. Computer moniters have the best quality. Its just with computers themselves, you have to keep constantly updating it, constantly. Everything goes obsolete every month.

computer video cards and monitors have met 1080p like 8 years ago.
now they are far advanced.

my monitor has double that, and 4 times the refresh and color depth of any existing tv.
console graphics have literally hit a dead end. you cant improve it anymore. and the tvs that will allow that will be to expensive and new for people when that day comes.

Depends entirely on what you update to. You can buy a good cpu, ram & gpu for your rig and have it play all the newest games for 2-3 years.

Wow, thats awhile. I never knew that. What's the best top of the line video card around now?

Holy 0_0. Well I don't think I can even afford something like that, plus i'd have to get a desktop. I have been thinking of asus actually, I wonder how good they are.

Lol. Sounds pretty powerful to me.

"flops"

they are now measuring home PC video cards as super computer hardware, like the ps3 chip.
when processing stops using stupid cores and begin using MORE actual multiple cpu's instead, truly new powerful hardware is being made available. :D

It's only about $400

Jesus. I need something like that. Can you do duels or triple with that card?

it already is a dual but yea

it already is a dual but yea

If I ran two of those I wouldn't look out side anymore I would just shoot the real world with an HD camera, then go home and look at it on my computer.

it already is a dual but yea

Oh, I see. Must get really hot. But a water cooling system could probably solve that.
