I remember coming back to RS after a long time, I tried looting(wilderness in Edgeville), and forgot that you can't do that anymore.

Yea =/. I used to be insanely rich as a noob. I'd go with a level 10 to the deep wilderness where all these level 100+'s fought. They were too rich to pick up their loot so I took dragon weapons, armor, abby whips, etc. I made so much money watching them fight and looting. I was too low a level for anyone to attack me! But now...now that's all changed. Augh.
