Yes. Use "Open with" instead of "Save as" so you don't have to worry about starting or deleting the torrent.

To download you need to install bittorrent.

Facts:

• Files are ALWAYS seeded. By multiple file servers
• You don't upload torrent files. You still upload zip files.
• Everything is the same except that when you download a file over 1MB, you download a torrent file
• If you don't like it, please make your own awesome file site and pay the bandwidth bills yourself.

I think they have an addon for it. If not, there is a full on browser mod of Firefox that has integrated Torrent managing/downloading
