I'm pretty much an idiot when it comes to hardware.

Do you know if your motherboard is ATX or MicroATX? (Size)

I'm terrible with motherboards too :(

It really doesn't matter unless he HAS a MicroATX case and he bought ATX.

Is your computer one of those small box cube ones? Like these;

Or is it an actual rising up tower?

Also, budget please? We can try and put together a list of good parts together, because your CPU can't go with your motherboard, and you chose two 9500GT. Both of which aren't that great for gaming.

I would prefer a budget of $400 to $800.

I'll just say $800 is the max.

Do you need any new CD Drives, speakers, monitors, that sort?
Also, how much wattage is your power supply? This'll determine if you need a new one or not.

...Which is why I'm asking.

To me, it seems like his plans are to use the case he already has instead of buying a new one.

It's a rising up tower btw.

Just because it is a "rising up" tower does not mean it is ATX.

Many computer manufacturers' computers have small cases that are MicroATX. For example, both my Compaq and Emachines computers are MicroATX.

If you try to use duct tape to fix any thing....
I'm sorry It won't work

You mean the racing stripe stickers on my computer don't make it faster?

:(

If you don't know anything about computers I suggest you just buy a computer because you would probably mess something up if you tried to build/upgrade one yourself.

Worst case scenario: You break 2 motherboards.

It's surprisingly hard to forget it up.
