Author Topic: Selfish starfishs  (Read 4231 times)

So, my 16th birthday is coming up this month (woot woot), and I'm asking for a laptop that costs a mere $400. My parents have already told me they absolutely will not get it for me. I even offered, hell, I want to pay for half of it. But no. They want to be a couple selfish douche bags and say that they want to get a "family computer", which I already know they'll divide and conquer as theirs, so it'll be the good ol', "Get off the computer! I need to use it, it's not yours anyway!" to which I respond with "But you said it's a 'family' computer." and they'll say something along the lines of "When the hell did we say that? We NEVER said that, now get off!"

What the forget. This is bullstuff. I don't even want to play games on the one I'm asking for, I need it for school. But no, they don't want me to have my own little "netbook", as my dad calls it, because they think I'll start looking up research, which I never have and never will do. What selfish asshats.

tl;dr - Just read it, lazyass, it's not that long.

[/bitching]

I'm done now.

What?
My parents are letting me buy my own laptop.
And they go loving nuts if i go on 2 hours shtraight.

I have my own computer, which just got more RAM because my antivirus was eating 95% of it.

And how old are you? Because as stated, I'm loving almost 16 and they think it's too much to ask for something that's $1000 less than the original one I wanted, which was a Toshiba Qosmio and it costs $1400. Let's see. $1400 versus $400.....

Srsly.

Did they say any of those things.

Be persistent and tell them to go screw themselves, my parents learnt that couldn't control me when I turned 15.

Haha, thats funny Timmy. Now go eat your sprouts.

Yes. Not quote-on-quote like that, but close enough.

I hate my parents right now. You know what? I'll buy it myself. I have well over $400 and, well, yeah.

Being a spoiled brat or a douche-bag are totally different things.

Ninja Edit: If you have the money buy the damn thing, you're 15 years old turning 16 for Christ sake.

what pisses me off about family computers, is the family is always stupid and creates different windows login users. and they switch between them not logging out of the one before, so its a loving lag mess of crap running at once.

why cant multiple people learn to share the 1 admin user? and just each make a folder with your name on the desktop for your crap?
what the hell settings are they needing so different that they cant share a hard drive?
