I'm so glad most of our parents don't know a lot about computers.

Fun fact: Just had Deja Vu

Same here, but this can be a good thing and a bad thing, I've had both. Like whenever I'm trying to work on something, one of my parents will be like "How do I go to a different web address??"

First of all, it's called a website nowadays.

Secondly, FIGURE IT OUT.

Yeah but here is another draw back for me, Everytime something happens to the computer my mom gets mad at me for it, I tell her it probably isn't anything I did and she doesn't believe me :/

You're all lucky. All I got for my birthday was a book teaching me how to maintain a plane I can never own, a cereal box toy, and a slice of cake that wasn't even meant for me. And you know what? I didn't even care. I still took myself mini golfing and made the best out of a day lacking in attention. forget, I wish I could have gotten about $400 worth of stuff in the last 4 years of birthdays and Christmases combined. Spoiled brats.

My mom is getting me a laptop, she just moved into a new house and got a better job than before.
She knows I looked at bad stuff, too :3.

When my mom gets a new laptop I am getting the old one which isn't that bad except for the fact it overheats and shuts down while playing Blockland

/agree

Happens to me all the time.

And when I got Blockland the computer was fine for a long time till my dad started going on it alot and they blamed the computer messing up on me when it was probably my dad.

As I've explained before, people who have a lot of close relatives and a few rich grandparents thrown in get more stuff for their birthdays.

I requested nothing but money for may last birthday and received $700. Believe me, I'm not boasting, I'm simply giving an example to prove my point.

Doesn't it make you a "selfish starfish" because your complaining about not getting what you want?

This is true, my friend who's Jewish got (I'm not kidding) $10000 for his Bar Mitzvah.

No. Seriously. I know I'm bitching, but I have a damn good reason to. It's my 16th birthday goddamnit. I've had A's for the past three years (maybe a couple B's in there) of school, and my parents haven't really even acknowledged it. Hell, I'd be just fine with them taking me out for dinner, but for my 16th birthday? Come on.

Goddamnit Regulith, now I'll be singing that all night... Oh well, it's a good song.
