Got this idea while riding in the car a few hours ago for no reason I can find.
Essentially, it's a paper airplane that you throw much like the spear, except the way it flies depends on how long you charge. If you charge too shortly (throw it too softly), the plane flies only a short distance. If you charge too long (throw too hard), it flies slightly upward before crashing to the ground. If you charge it just right, it flies in a pretty straight path. The paper airplane only does a small amount of damage (even when thrown incorrectly), but you get an endless supply. However, in between throws, you must "reload" (make a new one). I was hoping for some sort of animation of a paper airplane being folded for this.
