I should make armor made from scraps of metal foil and cardboard and walk around with a plastic sword and call my self a knight.
That would be funny if it didn't actually happen and wasn't satire.
As in The Doctor from Doctor Who?
Yes.

I hate it when people dress up in there costumes for these type of festivals.  YOU SHOULD ONLY DRESS UP IF ITS HALLOWEEN NOT SOME CRAPPY RP FESTIVAL
It's meant to be that way. If you don't like it, forget off, they don't want your input.

Im sharing my opinion about the festival.  It's a crappy rp.

People enjoy going to it because they have fun.

You don't have to talk like a peon to go there. You're just an idiot that hasn't gone to one.

Yes.

OMG OMG OMG. If the guy as the doctor again could i has pictures because i Love doctor who.

Last time I was at a Renaissance fare I almost bought a pole axe. But I re-thought the purchase after realizing I didn't really have room for it.

And it's going to stay that way.

I remember the last time I went to one was a 4th grade field trip or something, and I got to pet a python snake and watch two people sword fight thats all I really remember. :\

I've been two times. The first time I bought this awesome wooden shield. I got soup in a bread bowl and watched a joust. Saw people buying/selling/playing ocarinas and saw a ton of fancy outfits. The second time was more of the same, but I bought a wooden sword to match my wooden shield. Plus it rained and there were a lot of girls in white, tight shirts... ;)

They all start pretty similar mine already started. Don't yet know if I am going but it was fun the last few times I went. And although I don't dress up or anything I think its fun to get mocked by the people who work there. And also my states Renaissance fair is way out in the country inside like a field. So there is tons of mini houses that stay there all year long. And some of the people that work there in the houses and shops actually sleep overnight there for the whole time its open. Here is some pictures of the one I went too.

I go to them once every year. I get a new wooden weapon and sometimes a shield.

whoa builder, yours has a castle :O

and this time, im buying that staff AS SOON as i see it >:c I'll try to bargain off a few dollars with my spiderpig shirt :3
