Author Topic: Mission Editor Force  (Read 750 times)

I was messing around in mission editor and noticed how you can pull vehicles and players in any direction so I was wondering if it would be possible to make it and not have to use mission editor. Like the force (Lawl). This should also be Host only just like Mission Editor.

Then just use the damn mission editor.

Sorry for bump.

Well I don't want to open up Mission Editor because it would take too long and the player/vehicle would be gone by then.

Meet the gravity gun, http://forum.returntoblockland.com/dlm/viewFile.php?id=27 , I think you two will like each other.

Lawl, I didn't think about the gravity gun when I posted it but then realized that I can change the script so the model is blank but how would I pick players with it?

Lawl I guess you'd aim at them and fire it lawl.

Picking up players (with either the Gravity Gun or the Mission Editor) causes huge jerky movements on their screen and it generally isn't fun.

Wait, it's possible?

Anything that the mission editor does is possible.

You know hat would be cool? a gravity gun with changable range. E.g. Press "insert button name here" to make it reach out farther, and one to make it come closer.

Yeah, someone picked me up in my jeep and the screen shook like an earthquake.

No. That was in a testing server I had ages ago.

Someone else suggested having it put people in third person spy camera (which wouldn't be as jerky), but then you have absolutely no control at all over where people take you as you can't shoot back. Which is bad.
