We dont need any palidins/healers. Be a ranger or something, maybe a fighter

No. if you are a party you do need a cleric, they are the only class that can easily get rid of most nasty status conditions.

Paladins are suck healers and a fighter is at least 30% better in combat. Paladins are good only if you plan on fighting just evil things and acting like a douche.

You can never have too many.

EDIT: Clerics also have good attack spells and can go toe to toe in combat with the big nasties like fighters. The only reason you wouldn't want everyone in the party to be a cleric is their complete lack of skills.
