2-D can still suck. going back to the original sounds great, but i hope you all know it wont give you the same feeling that it would if you were to go and play the old Sega sonic games

Hopefully it'll be like when Capcom made Megaman 9.

As in the going back to the classics and being a great game part.

If its 2-D, as long as it doesnt have any loving werewolves or exploding planets and RP type levels then ill be happy.

Sonic unleashed was a major failure, the only good levels were the ones with Normal sonic in it.
