People just use the term 'magnum' for pistols that use that type of bullet.

So this is it: caliber = size of bullet (.01 = one hundreth(is that spelled right?) of an inch) and magnum means that more gunpowder is added. Quite simple, really.

But you probably already knew that.

isn't the ambassador chambered for .880

The Ambassador I've been trying on my server becomes insanely overpowered when you can zoom with it. It's a sniper rifle that does absolutely loads of damage, you don't have to slow down to fire and can then follow up with a shot to kill someone in less than a second.

In-game is it a raycast? Or does it use a slowish bullet...

In TF2 it is a raycast, so I made it do that in Blockland. It fires one perfectly accurate shot capable of headshotting people for triple damage (in Blockland, 90/100 health) and then less accurate ones if you hold the fire button until you wait a second. (I removed the 6 ammo limit though)

Also, longer barrels don't always mean better accuracy. Ever heard of a silencer? They actually make the accuracy worse, I think...

Anyways, to sum this up, my barrel is about a foot long.
And no, I am not talking about a sniper rifle.

I think the magnum would be kinda hard to make.
