That would take up way to many faces.
Not all that many more then the current grill plates, I figure it would take about 4 more quads at worst. Plus your current grills are pretty stable anyways, a few extra faces on bricks that aren't all that pretty when spammed to hell wouldn't do much harm.
I haven't the slightest as to how you'd want the grill to turn out though, I figure you'd want to be able to peer through it atleast but that's all I can figure.
