Author Topic: Dad is a loving starfish  (Read 5320 times)

You could do your homework in the car while your Mom drives everywhere, or save up for a new computer (they're not that expensive these days!). It isn't exactly yours so you can't blame him for using it - and Boston Legal is a very good show!
Just do the loving homework and stop complaining.
Your father wants you to do well in school, and in order to do that you need to do your homework.
This, seriously. All it take is the common sense to do it before you get home. That way you can show off to your dad and get him off the computer.
I get assigned a stuff load of homework every class, but I still manage to do it before class is over. If I don't, I finish it before class starts, it's just that simple. You're giving sixth graders a bad name, br0.

Kill him.
Inevitable statement is inevitable

why is it impossible to "do homework then play blockland?"

why is it impossible to "do homework then play blockland?"

Quantum mechanics.

Do your homework at lunch and eat. I've always done this before. Or do it at home if you go home for lunch. Whatever spare time you have use it to do your homework, I've had troubles in 6th grade too, and now I'm doing better in school these days, I'm in 9th grade by the way.

Do your homework faster, hey, I do 2 hours of cross country and I have to do algebra2 homework I still have time to play. Just practice doing homework, or do it on the bus or something
So do I. :D I didn't know pixl did cross country.

Or don't do your homework at all. That's what I did and look how I turned out!

If you did it anyway he wouldn't be an ass to you. Simple as that. You will realize this when you get older.

For now, you're an ass for not making the right choice. Sorry.

His dad was understandably being an ass, who likes being interrupted in the middle of a gripping episode of Boston Legal?

I always watch with a gun close at hand, just in case someone walks in front of the tv.

His dad asked. He shouldn't have to be an ass if his son replied "Yes" and he really did his homework.

I don't recommend this. Ephialtes got a bit lucky/chose the right job. If you want follow in his footsteps, go right ahead, I just don't think you should do it. So if you want to do something you feel is worth more, but requires more education, you are going to need to do your homework. Like that old saying goes, "Practice makes perfect." That is was homework is, "practice."

When I get out of school, I want to be a chemical engineer. That is why I do my homework when I get it. I always tell myself I can do it, for then I know I can. If you tell yourself you can't do it, you're dumb, it's not worth it, then you're just ruining yourself.

Blockland is not the world, it's far from it. You want to chill out from a "stressful day of sixth grade?" Then go get your favorite music, get something you like other than a video game, and go in your room and calm down. That's what I do, I hardly play video games during the week, and now that's by choice. I can chill out by listening to my iPod, laying in bed, drawing on a piece of paper with my laptop on just in case someone wants to talk to me.

I always watch with a gun close at hand, just in case someone walks in front of the tv.
Who needs a gun? If someone gets in front of me, I tell them to move or face my wrath. Fortunately, only one person has ever had to face me anger before. :cookieMonster:

You don't understand, Boston Legal rocks. I hate it when my dogs need to go out when I'm watching it.

Takes too much time, a bullet in the knee will drop them to the floor in half a second.
