My feelings about Mr. Obama.

The only reason he was elected was mainly because all the black people wanted him to win.  So they all got together and said "Hey, let's be an ass and vote for a black man to make world history."

So here he is, he saves us from a second "Great Deppresion," and he already spent more money than that idiot George W. Bush.

So, I think Obama should have shirts with his face on it saying "If only I had a brain.."

Because of Republican opposition, Congress is forced to create bullstuff and non-working bills. The stimulus packages would be a lot more effective without the conservative friendry injected in.

Obama is fixing things. That costs the GOVERNMENT money, not the loving people. He's giving it to the people. The Republican ideal of an unregulated market economy does not work, and the current crCIA is proof of it. Because of unregulated housing loans and unregulated insurance companies, the economy and the healthcare system are both broken.

If "socialized" health care is instated in America it would take months to see a Family doctor, Just look at Canada it takes about 5 months to see a regular family doctor. The system would be backed up worse then Canada's

You don't even know what this bill does.

All that's in it is legislation for a government - controlled alternative to private insurance that's cheaper. The government doesn't take over hospitals, clinics, or whatever else the forget you'll think will slow down.

That being said, England's health care system is completely socialized and the majority of the people love it.

That link has nothing proven in it. It's more speculation. They're preparing for IF the virus starts to become a lot worse. They don't intend on setting up these checkpoints at the moment.

But that's not what Obama is doing. He's just making a self sufficient public option. Tax dollars do not fund it once it is set up. The money to set it up is being taken directly from the subsidies going to the abusive health insurance companies. The premiums that people will pay for this public health insurance will not be large because it does not seek profit, only enough money to pay for its employees and other services. By not seeking profit and abusing customers because of this, it provides a cheaper alternative and therefore will allow the millions of Americans without health insurance to afford it.

That's also why their prime minister definitely never equated the United States to national socialist Germany, and definitely never threatened to target European cities if America placed any nuclear assets anywhere in Europe. Yeah, Russia and the U.S., the best of buddies.
