Author Topic: Infomaniac's Tips  (Read 15373 times)

We need some new ones! As all of you who enjoy the company of the Infomaniac on your loading screens will know, his repertoire of tips leaves much to be desired. Therefore, we're asking you to submit some new things for him to say. Ideally it'd be good if they were tips about Blockland and building, but just interesting facts would also be good - anything you think would be cool to hear from the Infomaniac while you're loading a server.

So just submit as many as you want in your post, then I'll go through them later and pick out a bunch of them for RTB 3.1. We've gotta keep these tips fresh!

Did you know the Glock was named after Gaston Glock?

If you set your limits for events and vehicles too high, you won't be able to spawn any.

To make a brick look more like water, set the ShapeFX to water using the events system instead of the Undulo paint can!

Those weird, floating, colored shapes that often show up can usually be cleared by typing flushtexturecache(); into the console.
