A while ago I started making 3D weapons on a free modelling program made by google (Google Sketchup)

I haven't really made any for a while but here are a few that I've made.

This is my personal favorite, the 1911

This is an AK47. One of my more recent models. There is an older, crappier version of the ak47 that I might put in here if you guys like.

Here's the 1911 again but not in a showy picture. This is just the overview of the weapon. It's an older version than the one picture above but it's still nice.

If you want to see more, just say so and I'll try to get up some others. Excuse the crappy edges in the pictures, they were made before I discovered the feather selection tool. Also, these aren't the most accurate models because they were made using 1 flat reference image. Enjoy and if you'd like rate each out of 10 :D

Barrel on the 1911 is too small, hammer goes nowhere, slidelock has been reduced to a fused plate, the slide appears to be fused to the frame.

Action on the AK makes no sense, shell is way out of proportion.

If you're interested in improving, I would suggest finding a disassembled view of each gun so you can model the parts individually and learn how they go together and what they do.

Thanks for the tips and constructive criticism. I know these are kinda crappy but considering that I've never seen these in real life and worked off of a single low res image they're okay. To those accusing me of stealing them you are wrong. I spent several hours on these and it sucked while I was. I can't really change your opinions though, so enjoy or don't.

But if you'd like to snoop around and investigate, feel free to look at my account on the workshop. I'm BJNinja there. Old account, crappy name.
