smashtv was ported from nes to xbox360
therfore the nes version was first.  i would assume the nes version does not have all the same features that the ported xbox 360 version has.

I can understand that, but what I don't understand is how you shot in 8 directions and move in 8 directions at the same time with one control pad and 2 buttons, like you can in the 360 version, It seems like it would be impossible to play the game.
