Joined sometime in v8, been playing off and on scince.

Hmm. How did I start..
Oh, yes, I started around early v8, trolling everywhere. I went to Badspot's Block Party as my first server. Some people told me to go get a better name, cause it wasn't this, and I raged at them.  Eventually I changed my name to Ultimamax and became a bit less of a troll, but had no real friends besides that GAMELORD fellow. After that, I changed my name to Kirby #1 (ultimamax) or something like that. I still wasn't making friends. Finally, I removed the #1, and I met someone named A Guy.
Being the tiny bit of a troll I had left, I asked how I could get admin, and I joined the clan. I remarkably passed everybody but two people in the clan, the two that were in the server where I asked for admin. Eventually, I changed my name AGAIN to Dr.Kirby (ultimamax). (I am such a name changer. But this was over a 2 year long time period.) When I changed my  name to Dr.Kirby, I met -Mike- and we became friends, followed by many other clan members of B.W and random people around Blockland. Then for my final name change, I removed that stuffty (ultimamax) from my name and became Dr.Kirby.
Now I'm a huge douchebag that lurks the forums all day, and annoys countless people. :D

Oi, I remember when I started playing RTB a long while ago. 'Twas the Golden Age when all was good and dandy. People were kind and Ephi was off doing some emo shizz. Builds excelled to peaks of greatness and ideas flowed in willingly. Crashes were rare- if any. I remember my first crash...Torque Engine had failed me and told me to go away. Sadly, little to my knowledge, it was the beginning of the great decline. Servers and players began to crash and the server list dwindled. Only small groups played for a while as population grew dimer and dimer. Soon, though, the bulb lite up and our population grew high once more! At this time, I met 2 good friends whom would stay with me.- Legend, the former Pryo Co-Leader/Leader and now a very strong DMer in Blockland, and General Jake- AoB owner, previous RTBMM co-founder, and a rare, but valuable player on Blockland.

Even though the decline was short, the Silver Age was still a great breakthrough. Many great builds and players had been built up. Rumors grew toward the end, though, that RTB would be discontinued- in subject of the demonic Retail. Ha! I still remember speaking about Retail as....well how Retail players talk about Roblox. Soon, though, I fell a subject to it and bought Retail in late v7 or early v8. Very few servers- if any - were ever up. There were no events or fancy vehicles or microwave ovens. I grew bored of it, and went to RTB. When I returned, I found it in panic. News had spread that Ephi may discontinue downloads and discourage play of this great game. I assumed several false identities and rebelled on the forums. I originally assumed that Mocheeze was responsible, but after, like, 10 pages of comments and fighting, Ephi said he had planned the change. Soon after that, RTB died slowly.....the population grew from hundreds....to dozens.....to several.....and now.....there is hardly anything left. I still remember the plead in people's voice "Ew please" and when DM's were simple and rare.......

But, a rolling stone gathers no moss! So soon, after Legend had suggested we play Retail, I had agreed! We grew fond of it, playing RTB less and less until finally we only played Retail. I still remember being called a "newb" when I had come. Haha. The versions flew by, and soon we had a great civilization! Vehicles, and weapons, and arches, and  curves, and all we can ask for! Maps and mods galore! Through these times, it always felt like the Golden or Silver Age of RTB. But there was always something missing. It's like ordering a fine champagne, but getting cider instead. It looks the same, but the taste doesn't add up......

There I met many great friends on Blockland, Netwars, Syntho, Reaper, Owen, Straton, Chaos, Ben, Tommy, among many, many others. I worked my way up and helped numerous clans, getting my way into some of them. I currently hold the highest rank of Co-Leader in the soon-to-be-revived Blockintosh (BiT), a dream I have always held since it started! V13 is such a great time for Blocklanders. We have many great things on our plates. Even so, I come from a time when the most common phrase was asking for something that prevented spam as opposed to "ADIMN PL0X". A time 40 bricks could build an entire house! A time when people wouldn't be so hellbent on having status, and would play for fun.

*Sigh*But like the sands of time so are the days of our lives.........  :cookie:

Holy stuff, you spend too much time on the forums.

And last time I checked, RTB was like, stone age compared to this now.

I DO NOT.....Okay, I do, BUT STILL! I can't help it, I just write long :C

And even so, RTB was a wonderful game. I don't think you should compare Blockland to RTB (Even though I kinda did...) It's like comparing apples and oranges. They have their own feel and taste, even some difference in it's appearance. Though, they are both lovely and delicious fruits....errr.....games.....  :cookieMonster:

I started out in septemer 2008, when the 11K IDs were just coming out. It was around my b-day (september 14th). I still play to this day, but not as much.

shananagins. I bought my key on January 14 and I'm ID 10,314. No 11ks til february or march. Haha you been sued by the ID man fir shananagins.

I bought the game sometime around Christmas of 2008, which was v10. I played demo from maybe October or November of '08 until then. My first build was a house in Bedroom, and I wish I still had the save :(. I (I hope) have improved in both building and social skills. I didn't really do much online play until I discovered Diggy's (at the time Wentworth's) Metropolis RPG. I got into online play a lot then, and I scarcely play in single player anymore. Diggy's Metropolis is still one of my favorite servers.

well I joined at the dawn of v10 (the date was January 14 when I got my key)

January '09 wasn't the dawn of v10. It was released 10/7/2008

i joined in v11, when archbricks were not out yet :')

And you need to know this why?

I found the game and bought it in August '09 (id14228) V12

Tried to join an RP (prolly diggy's) and got fed up with an hour of downloading addons.

Found redliub's citybuild and built there mindlessly for 2 weeks, don't remember seeing any of the players I know now on there.

Found the forums, found clans, joined NWB.

Confession: the first server I was ever on I asked how to open doors. I promise, I clicked it, but it didn't open. The flaming jackasses on that server were no help either lol.

I joined November, 2008
And i dont got that much time so i just typed when i joined. :\

Joined... eh, September 2008. (V9)
First server I joined was Pandan's Space Wars on the Planets map. It took ages to load. I thought the multitool gun was a weapon.
Discovered The Gamer's server, where I got admin for the first time.
Discovered Hi Hi's server, where I was also admined.
Discovered Kiwibear's server. Admined again.

Return to Blockland.
And here I am. :'D

Joined sometime around V7.

Still here.

Definitely not.
Heh, I remember those days. Good times... Good times. But I must say, I do remember my intentions being rather ennoble.
