Not necesarilly, there's no rule stating it has to go in there. Just because someone decided to start a topic to collaborate all random bits and bobs of Art, doesn't mean you can't post yours outside of it.

On-Topic: It doesn't look too bad really, but the shading needs a tad bit more work, perhaps slightly smoothing it out, and of course the white shine spot, needs less white.

Its an exact trace. I guess its not really bad when you're not tracing another piece of artwork, but it still doesn't show any skill.
