Author Topic: Duck's models. (Scripter wanted)  (Read 3362 times)

Go away.
These are my models, not yours.
And Pandan, to your long speach, thank you.
I didn't know what polys are, and you just explained.
I'll try to use what you told me.
And I'll try to learn milkshape.
You helped me alot.

I have another, Pandan.
Is this better at all?
I reduced as much polys as possible.

I reduced as much polys as possible.
Go into Draw, and click Polygon.
Type the number of sides you want, hit Enter.
Make it like a normal circle.

Cuts down on Polys in the model instead of using 24 rounded sides.

I don't think you fairly understand polys yet.

For instance, the barrel is a 24 sided circle.

Make it a 6 sided barrel.

Also, going into sketchup with out a idea before hand can lead to models like this.
A bunch of shapes stuck together.

Go into Draw, and click Polygon.
Type the number of sides you want, hit Enter.
Make it like a normal circle.

Cuts down on Polys in the model instead of using 24 rounded sides.
Actually, It goes like this.

Select the polygon tool.
Type # of sides "12"
Then press the "s" key
Then press "enter"

Also, to make a sphere,
Place a circle/polygon horizontally.
Place another circle/polygon vertically, nearly the same size as before.
Select the Horizontal one.
Go into "Tools", and find "Follow Me".
Click the vertical circle/polygon.
You have a sphere.

Damn, I was expecting a duck model D:
