Level 256 is a level that has been achieved by a number of characters by exploiting the game. Players who are this level can take no more than one damage per hit, and can hit well into the thousands. Players who play with level 256's run the risk of getting their data erased and replaced with the level 256's data. Players who do play with these characters will experience large amounts of lag and other performance loss. There is a rumor going around that using this glitch can also cause your xbox LIVE account to be banned, however this has never been proven.
How-To
Step 1. Ready Up
Step 2. Leave with the account you want the level 256 with at 2 seconds or 1 second on the countdown
Step 3. Choose any character
Step 4. Go To Barbarian Boss
Step 5. Let the level 256 kill the boss while you are in the back waiting.
Step 6. After killing the boss open the chest.
Step 7. When the reward gold is coming out, leave the game. Quit.)
Step 8. Go to a local game; check if you have it and if you do beat any level so it saves.
