Is it just me or have we had more members being Grammar national socialists recently? I've seen a lot of people correcting pretty much every grammatical mistake.

Another thing I see is people immediately assuming those who don't type well are idiots, which annoys me, since it's usually readable when they're flaming the person for the mistakes. Another thing along these lines that annoys me is when someone says something like "your stupid", and some random person says "irony!" just because of them using the wrong your/you're.

Doesn't mean not typing well makes you an idiot. A lot of the time I simply don't put effort into correct grammar and punctuation because it allows me to type faster with it still being readable.

One should not make grammar mistakes when commenting on someone's intelligence.

One shouldn't make grammar mistakes at all, but it happens. Extra care should be taken when posting a comment about someone. I feel like I'm the only person who previews their posts, re-reads them, and re-previews after any changes before posting it. I'm probably one of few. But that's just how careful I try to be.

Serious post = Serious grammar

Fun post = Whatever grammar

i remember on some old forums i was on there was a rule against grammar national socialisting so tons of people got banned for it when it was first implemented

in fact a while back i think people on THESE forums got banned for grammar national socialisting
