Author Topic: Grammar national socialists.  (Read 5800 times)

but generally when people are typing like that they wont explain WHY it crashes or when it does

Kre can talk like Grammar-Jew when he wants.

And then there's people who make a topic title like:

HELP!

Yep, just help.

Then the OP is a bit like this:

Blokland no wurk.

You see, when a topic and a person is already substantially idiotic, a lack of grammar makes it even worse.

Also, you need grammar in the business world. Forgetting to place periods, capitalize words, misspell easily spelled words, and confusing your with you're, is just unacceptable.

On-topic:I'v seen it once or twice.
Not very drama worthy.

i would understand if people were complaining about things that make it hard to read

but if someone just uses the wrong your/you're or something else like that you dont have to attack them

This.

They do have to, or you will never learn. With this attitude you will fail English every time for the rest of your school career then get a job pushing shopping carts around in a parking lot. These people are helping you. Just accept it and move on.

When people Grammar national socialist me, I think to myself, "Does this kid even know what the hell he's saying?" And every 9 times out of 10, the person being a Grammar national socialist to me, they don't even use Grammar/Spelling/Punctuation. It makes me sad.

lots of people type casually online but type perfectly fine for school assignments and the such

it's because they honestly dont care about it online because they arent getting graded or anything

it doesnt mean they type or spell bad at work or school

I have to agree with Mike on this one.
It's not like Internet moderators go around, getting pissed at us for our spelling mistakes, or the topics everywhere would be spelled with perfect punctuation and grammar.
It's also fun to sumtiemz maek mistaekz.

We need grammar police.

We need grammar police.
