For all of those who don't know much about him, he pioneered the peaceful protest concept. He was tolerant of all religions, which ended up getting him killed. Because of him, India became a nation in 1947, along with Pakistan.

And he wasn't the Martin Luther King of India; Martin Luther King was the Gandhi of America.
