Author Topic: I Need a New Guitar  (Read 1377 times)

I'm an intermediate player, and have been playing for 1 1/2 years. The current guitar I have is a Fender Starcaster, and I need a new one fast. Quote from Music Cubed Clan:

Convert them into OGG and edit them how you like Burple.

I can do those solos easily, so I need one that will help me pull it off more efficiently.
So I need a cheap, and good guitar.

EDIT: Btw, it's this guitar.

Buy the one you want.

Or buy an Air Guitar of eBay. /scam reference.

I'm asking for suggestions, not posts that don't help me at all.

Get a ICT700, they're heavy as forget but play solos pretty nicely.

On a serious note though, look into Synyster Gates' guitar, I've played a replica of it and it has incredibly smooth play. However I'd also suggest getting a more high action pickup for the bridge.

If that is the guitar, buy it.

Ehno

That's the guitar I have now, one of those stuffty ones I got from Sam's Club.

I'm looking into a more professional guitar.

@Net

I've got about $300-500 to spend on, no more than that. So those guitars simply can't do. :c

ICT700s are like, $600, though

He needs a cheap guitar. Maybe an Epiphone? I personally dislike epiphones, but they're cheap and can sound good, depending on your amp.

EDIT:
Might I suggest an Ibanez SZR520?

If that is the guitar, buy it.
Starcaster?
You make me giggle.

Compared to Costco Guitars (aka a Starcaster, no joke that's where I got mine), they're expensive.

Try Strontium Electronics Guitar (I have just having fun) (you can ignore me)!

It is the best!

ALL THE GUITARS lose out to this one!
Play it! It is the most perfect of perfect!

That looks like a pretty nice guitar. What color scheme would you suggest I get it in? Green seems cool. :D
I'm going to show my parents this tommorow.

Well, it depends on your preference.

Me? I'd probably get the Sunburst, though I prefer black. Something about that guitar in Sunburst just looks good.

How much money do you think I can get for my Starcaster and some other guitar that I have, that it has SD card recording capabilities?

I forgot the model of the other one, since my parents will most likely not fund me, I'm going to have to save up by working with my dad, which if I work full-time from 6:00 AM-5:00 AM gets me $100 a week.
But I can't do full time since I got school.

I'm not sure on that one

well me personally I would suggest a paul reed smith. Their SE (student edition) guitars can be in price ranges of about $400-$1000 so you can pick up a cheaper one. They sound great and in my opinion for the price they blow anything out of the water.

This is my paul reed smith

although really the best thing I can suggest is to go to your local store and try out guitars, you really can't make a good purchase on a guitar you have never played, which is why I do not reccomend buying off of the internet.

Before you buy any of them though, test them out somewhere. What the description on the internet says, a lot of times, is a lie.
