Wouldn't that require either a script or editing a crapload of weapons/tools/items?

Basicly make a laser flashlight (red dot or tactical light) and have it equipped in thew left hand.
Have it findthe second join of the left hand or make a new one and have it stick there whille you can switch light modes with a key bind or /swtich.
Something like that
