Author Topic: Debating getting TF2. Might run slow, or just look terrible. (Read 524 times)

I've been wanting to get TF2 on steam for a while now, but after going on Can I Run It, I'm not so sure.

I have minimum requirements, and most recommended requirements. In fact, the only thing that doesn't meet the recommended requirements is my video card. All of the features are ok, but the video card itself is not.

So, is Can I Run It just stupid, or should I spend another $75 just for the right card?

Looks like you have a 6150 and the requirements are 7900
I think that's lower than what you need.

Used to have that card.
I'm guessing you have a slimline, and should go to www.newegg.com and look up a card.
I got a great deal on a Zotac 9400 GT with Slimline Brackets, with the power supply requiring only 200W, and it works fine on my 180W
On the 6150SE, it ran at 40 FPS on Medium settings.

I have almost bare minimum, my graphics card is below the level and I can run it fine.
