The more i hear about the funny the more i wish my attention span lasted longer.
It dosen't have to be long to play Dwarf Fortress, Silly.

Sometimes fortresses take a bit, but you can always play adventure mode. I play as Hammerers usually, and once I crushed a man's throat with a pig tail sock. Also, when surrounded by a pack of wolves, I just maneuver around and hit them into trees and break their spines.

LOL 2 CAT XDDDDDDDDDDDD

I threw a rock through a dragon's heart, does that count?

I'm pretty sure that counts, yeah. There's always your classic "blackened brain", too, right?

depends on clock speed, its probably rolling at 2.4 to 2.6 ghz right?

its fine, it will just slow to 24-25 fps when you get a population above 100, or if you have to many animals running around.

Is going from 7 Pop with over 100 FPS down to 50 and below with a pop of 70 and barely any wandering animals bad?

I just lost 10 Marksdwarves to CARP!!!
And sturgeon.

I'm tired of bumping, somebody post something interesting!

I've done a lot of things I've never done before on this fortress #12 (should delete the others) I've...
1.Made Obsidian block roads
2.Built ballista bunkers
3.Changed Carp attack from 6 to 2
4.Have towers watching the river
5.survived countless fire imp caused wildfires that torched the entire region (it looked like hell on my side of the river)
6. built a siege engineer camp on the other side of the river
7. built a fishery, leatherworks, kitchen, magma kiln, ashery, and clothiers shop
8. actually smelted something (worthless junky copper weapons and armor, hey, it's better than bone or leather right?)
9.Been ambushed 4 times in a month
10. saw some captured humans and a Dwarf Guard which was probably a snatched child a few years back.
11.got nagged at by elves.
12. and read the entire boatmurdered saga.

And apparently there has been 3 or 4 other Dwarf Fortress topics and atleast 13 mention Dwarf Fortress.

My officer sentenced himself to 40 days in prison and a beating for attacking a war dog during a tantrum!
