The general problem with subscription based games is that the business model corrupts the design.  The gameplay is spread as thin as possible to keep you playing for the longest possible time.  That's why you have to mindlessly grind for months in MMOs.

Haha, you're awesome. You create an excellent game and instead of milking it to death, you focus on making it more fun for the people who have already bought it.

That's a good point. I know it's all in business when companies with MMOs and other stuff charge monthly, but I just find it greedy, usually. I get why they do it but I still find it stupid.

However if you don't want to go through campaign to get all the skills and attachments they let you buy those. They also have several expansions (or games, depends on how you activate them) which cost as much as the game itself.
Was a good RPG because it required some thought into your builds, considering you can only have up to 8 skills equipped and can only switch them at towns/outposts. But lets not go any further because this is a Blockland topic.

I think a $5 charge a month is certainly acceptable.  Much like Runescape, being a member was cheap.
Now I'm not saying "MAEK MEHMBUR ONLEE SERBERS"  but I'm saying it may give Badspot more incentive to work on Blockland some more.  Not that he doesn't work already, but maybe he'd be happier with running and maintaining Blockland.

Atleast it's not just for one game though. It's so you can play any game on an Xbox 360. Yeah it should be free because we're already paying for internet (or our parents), but atleast they aren't charging us 10 bucks a month for each and every game.
