You should make the spear like the Tlingit fishing spears for catching salmon.
The spears have two blades at the end and all just wood. It is for catching the right size and if it doesn't fit it is too small to eat.

I think v5 variables is better because it is LESS confusing and more easier, simpler to use. Also v5 has a manual that is finished almost jsut needed to add some final touches.
