Guys, Lord English is invincible. Not only that, he can travel through time and space, so he can't be trapped either.

He could just time travel before he's caught. The only feasible way I think he could be sent to the green sun would be if time was stopped, so he could not react, and they somehow teleported him there.

and that's exactly what he does at the end of the flash

Fine, he's 99.9% invincible. The only way he can be killed is through a very specific process, and you need to remember that he is incredibly powerful and has legions of minions. He is, for all intents and purposes, invincible.

Barring his one Achilles Heel, that is. 


Edit: Also, yes, he can apparently conjure a sarcophagus that allows him to travel through time/space at will.
