It's really surprising how much stuff actually makes sense now that I go back and read Homestuck again, like the interpretive dance that apparently meant nothing.
Also, my input on the recent update:
I do not think he will be the Lord English we are familiar with. Although his transformation may have some insight as to why Lord English is literally loving everywhere, he is most likely just a host, like Doc Scratch.
Alternatively, he might just be an alternate Lord English. We really don’t know for certain if Lord English has to take the same form in every universe he inhabits. Lord English could then be thought of as a kind of virus, infecting people and destroying the universe. Caliborn is still, in my head, the most obvious primary Lord English because he literally made Jack into a version of Lord English.
Moving on, I think I know how one might be ‘Infected.’ Caliborn has stated that if someone were to look deep into Lil’ Cal’s eyes, they would be “PEERING THROUGH THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WINDOWS. INTO MY HIDEOUS SOUL.” Jack looked into Caliborn’s ‘HIDEOUS SOUL’ before all of that happened, so his soul is most likely more than capable of infecting someone. Seeing how Lil’ Cal is in every universe infected by LE, I’d say there’s a good chance he plays a major role in LE entering the universe. The name Lil’ Cal would make much more sense, as it could be thought of as Little Caliborn. Think about it; the gold tooth, red cheeks, and the window to his soul. That’s really all I have to say on the matter for now, so we will just have to wait and see.
I'm sure I'm not the first one with ideas like that, but that's just what I interpreted.
