Author Topic: Just Bought Half-Life: Source  (Read 767 times)

like the topic title. I bought Half-Life: Source off of Steam.
My father (the cool parent) let me buy it even though it was rated M, since it IS originally from 1998.
It's downloading now.
Discuss acquisition of Half-Life.

Bad choice.

Original is better.

Oh well.
I don't see any reason to not have bought the slightly upgraded version.

On a side note, Steam download is currently 1.3 MB/s :P

Only good thing I see about HL:S is the fact that you can use it with Gmod.

My father (the cool parent)

Sounds like someone doesn't like their mom?

My mom's fine.
Yeah, I partially bought the Source version to use with Garry's Mod, since I now remembered how to activate the game files in GMod.

Black Mesa: Source ftw.
I prefer HL:S over HL. But, then again, cause I play all this fancy-shamncy graphic crap, it has a habit of making my eyes bleed over the late 20th century graphics.
Hopefully BMS will give the game it's proper, deserved, graphics.
Yay.

Black Mesa: Source will be compatible with Garry's Mod about a month after it's released.
Also, I have the Alpha of BM:S :3

Add lilrobot to Steam, I'll accept it, and you'll get your proof :D

Or you can post a screenshot.

You running a steam shortcut called "Black Mesa Source Alpha" is not proof.

Remember kids: just because its source doesn't means its better.

my parents dont care what the rating is

You just wasted your money. You should've waited for Black Mesa like the rest of us... We're still waiting, LOL!
