Apparently Quote and Curly are were going to be part of a Super Smash Bros. Style game called "Indie Brawl." But Pixel, being the crotchety old Asian he is, he absolutely REFUSES anyone to work on ANYTHING related to Cave Story.

He doesn't want to make a sequel or prequel, nor does he want anyone else making a freeware one, so when they ask permission he says no.

Cave Story is awesome. Their creator is ok, but he is a stubborn old Asian man, who does not want the great legacy that is Cave Story to be continued. Ever.

Also, I've been thinking of a prequel to Cave Story which follows pretty close to the story you can figure out from what they say in the actual game. :D

I just got Cave Story, i played up to the part where you first meet Sue and she gets taken away, i have a level 3 gun (Some EXP that fell out of monsters i let 'em disappear cause i was lazy or they landed on that lower level with the white thing going back and forth that does 100 points of damage), and i have a missile launcher, yay

This game is pretty cool so far, but i'm terribly uncoordinated when it comes to shooting at those bugs and the bigger and more ugly bug that shoots green stuff at you :(
