Author Topic: Set event Admin Only  (Read 945 times)

I was thinking about how fort wars servers often have rules like "no changing datablock!"  And well, an add-on like this would eliminate all of that.  Basically it can be a script, GUI, or RTB add-on that sets the specified event to be admin only.  For instance, /seteventadminonly <event name>.  Also, there should be a list showing which events are set as admin only, like /showadminonlyevents would show in the chatbox which events were admin only.  Discuss.

I think it's possible.
Perhaps I could make this.

Epicness.  I don't care how fancy it is, the sooner its out, the better.

I have an idea how, it's just I not that good at scripting. :/

There is an RTB pref for this, only problem is it disables all wrench events.

Just FYI.

Spaceguy made "Script_DisableEvents" to disable specified inputs and ouputs of events.  I know you're asking for a script to make events admin only, but in the meantime I think this mod could help you out a bit.

Thanks

It's a default pref guys.

$Pref::Server::WrenchEventsAdminOnly = 1;

I think he mean only one or two events, not everything.

This would be pretty useful for Fort wars, so that you can make triggers and such, but not some kind of things like this.

OnPlayerTouch --> Player --> Spawnprojectile --> Inster overpowered projectile here

i will attempt to make this i have a idea how but to confirm my idea i need to study the disableevnt

I laugh at your pathetic attempt to be intelligent. You've made five posts and think you can script something like this? This isn't ROBLOX where there's a tutorial on how to script and we don't take crap add-ons.
EDIT: I was looking through your posts and found out you called Truce a failure.

Ðænth just won the topic.
