That is where you're wrong. There are laser weapons but none of them are Pistols.

Funny how every non-default pistol add-on sucks.
The silenced pistol uses the same audio description as the normal pistol, so you can hear it from the same distance.
The revolver takes a stuff ass long time to shoot when you first pull it out.
Every other pistol is simply underpowered.

a pistol if you left click its shoots normal but if your right click it turns into a sub machine pistol (SMP)
