What the forget.
I was going out to lunch with my dad today, and we get home. There's a package at the front door, so i walk to see what it is. When I get there, I noticed that there were ladybugs all over our front window, swarming something. I told my dad, apparently he knew this. They were swarming the package too. I thought ladybugs were supposed to be rare?
In our neighborhood, we get all of the bug infestations. Two years ago, we had stinkbugs. Last year we had bees & wasps. This year ladybugs. What's next? o.o

Up in New England, or at least around the part of it where I live, ladybugs are everywhere you look this time of year. They hate the cold, so they try to get into your house, via any means necessary. There's this one spare bedroom in a corner of our house no one tends to go in, but just this morning, I saw a ladybug lounging on the windowsill in there. We usually get up to ten there, lol.

mm good to see it's not just us.
However, we don't have just ten. We look out the window and see 10 standing on the roof, not to mention on the other parts of the roof and other parts of the house.
Anyone know how to exterminate them? I believe my dad called the exterminator, but he hasn't come. That was a while ago, and they're getting annoying ;(

Don't mind them; unless they're strolling around your floor, they're not really a problem.

I just mean if they're on a windowsill or your roof, they're not hurting anyone. In your case, if they actually are landing on all the living objects in your house, then that'd probably be reason to get them out.

Yeah. I realize.
Thanks for your help, i'll just leave this up for discussion about pests and such.

Sometime I have ant problems.
And Black widows.

Back when I lived in North Carolina, wasps would get in sometimes too.

There is only one thing to do as a human, they are inconveniencing you and must be annihilated into extinction.

Centipedes. ALL OVER MY loving HOUSE!

There's a crap load of em all over our house they also somehow keep getting in and making everything smell bad

They are Japanese Ladybugs that originate from Asia. They were brought over to control the aphid population.
