Okay, so, over the summer, my sister has been hanging out with her friends a lot. There were times where we wouldn't see her or hear from her for a matter of four or five days, and we had no idea where the hell she was. I honestly didn't think much of it, she was probably off partying and drinking and whatnot.
She's continued to do the same thing even though school has restarted. She won't need a ride home after school on Fridays because she hangs out with her friends directly from school and won't be back until 9 or 10 on Sunday night.
I, my dad, and my step mom don't seem to know her anymore. My dad became very disappointed in her, and has now come to the point of not caring what she does. Whenever she asks to do something, he simply responds with, "I don't care, do whatever you want," but he told my step mother and I that he has come to his last resort, which is trying to guilt her.
When school started, she also was told that if her ride from her friend wasn't there by 7:15, she needed to start walking because she has an enhancing class before school she needs to take in order to graduate. I looked at our attendance reports online and she has been tardy for it 12 times and counting and skipped once. She's also skipped an entire day of school and tried to call in as my step mom to see if the school will excuse it. My dad found out and grounded her but it didn't do any good.
My step mom called her out on it several times. My sister is rather stuck up, so some of what she says is true, but my step mom has no mercy. She's talked to me on the way home and called her a disrespectful bitch, which I can agree to.
The more they discuss it, the more awkward it gets. I'm just curious as to what I should think. I can't tell if they're going to hard or if it's just enough.
