Author Topic: An item that adds only a defined amount of health  (Read 614 times)

Not like rotondos medkit, which heals you fully, but something that heals you like 10 hp.

10 HP would be a waste of inventory space. Perhaps like 50-80?

Something small like 10-20 hp would be good for holding you over until you get back to some sort of healing station.

50 health sounds good

but actually, being able to CARRY AROUND extra health with you feels like a cheap shot in most DMs

is it at all possible to make an item that, when you pick it up, heals you? because then we could make FPS style medkits 'n everything

onPlayerTouch -> Player -> addHealth [50]
onPlayerTouch -> Self -> disappear [10]

no, no, something more... official looking then that

when people see a red block sitting on the ground they don't think "HEALTH :D" they think "oh hey a red block"

when people see a box with a first aid sign spinning around idly on the floor, it's another story entirely

how about an item where if you have it in you inventory when you die it revives you once with half your max health and leaves your inventory

build a first aid sign above it :cookieMonster:
