Author Topic: "Build physics" read to understand  (Read 1009 times)

the only thing blockland needs to be the best video game in the world is this.  if you have played robloxs you will understand this, if you could build vehicals out of bricks the move like normal vehicals (like the Jeep)and make plains that fly( like bi plain)and boats. a build like a that you blow up like a castle will be able to fall and have physics in chuncks and not only in separate peaces.  thats it and i know its possible, might take forever to work properly but thats all.

1. this isn't Roblox
2. That would lag like roblox

We also use a different Physics engine

well blockland would be better than roblox in every way possible if somone did this.

I get what you're saying Just don't believe it should/could be done

IF you want that just go to roblox...

This has been discussed before.

The verdict seems to be impossible, because of the way the bricks are. I am not 100% sure, but I'm just telling you, there's a good chance it's not possible.

Not possible without engine changes, and I doubt badspot or kompressor want to do this.  The physics look good as they are.

The vehicles in ROBLOX also explode at random.

I was thinking of the same thing, only I don't play Roblox (Because I'm a Macintosh), and I believe it is impossible, besides, it's really hard to build a car or vehicle anyways.

yes they do.

(Because I'm a Macintosh),

I hate it when Mac users do that...

You use a computer. You're not the computer you use

No, he's a robot. I thought you knew that.

The way Blockland works is all bricks are on a grid and locked on to that grid. That's why you can't move bricks 0.5th of a brick. It's literally impossible to move bricks off the grid in such a way.

Actually, if you scale a brick with the console, you'll find moving bricks off the grid relatively easy.

It already is.
