Author Topic: I bought a PC game from Target just last night and...  (Read 1973 times)

Because many games have the product keys in the inside of the box, if you've opened the box then you've had the chance to take a legitimate product key, then return the game and sell the key for a profit. Of course they're not going to let you take it back.

This, and Target isn't handicapped. They know how to make profit, they won't sell you the game so you can play for three seconds and return it. They also want to ensure there's no damage.

ITT:

boo-hoo my game was bad :(

Why the forget do you think they'll let you return the game if you don't like it? It has to be broken or missing something.
They have nothing to do with the game. They have sold it to you, and you already have the product key.

We are still requesting name of game

Why does my mom say it cant be returned to the store if its opened! WTF?! That's so unfair, is it true?
You should learn how to slide the plastic off carefully.  ;D

Pitchblack, what are you, 8?  "That's unfair!"  It's COMPLETELY fair!  Now stop being spoiled.

They let me return a PC game in Best Buy.  :cookieMonster:

Too bad for you. You should've known the damn game sucked. That's why I never just buy games spur-of-the-moment style, I go home and look it up.
Nobody takes returns for games or trade-ins because you can easily just copy-paste the DVD/CD and keep the key.

It's probably PotC: At World's End. I heard the camera and movements are forgeted head over heels.

If hes a troll I take care of him with Mr. CrowBar :D

Now stop being spoiled.

How does wanting to return a game make you spoiled?

How does wanting to return a game make you spoiled?

He's being a "brat", if you will, about a tiny little thing he doesn't like.

Well after I bought the loving piece of stuff, it sucks. The camera movement messes up my fighting. I've been playing for at least 3 hours and haven't even found the way out of the FIRST LEVEL! IT SUCKS!
It's not Targets fault that you're stupid/greedy enough to just grab whatever game you see and buy it without any knowledge of how it's like.

Brat ≠ spoiled.
