I remember when nintendo made games that were enjoyable

when cartoons were focused on funny things, loony toons for example

When everyone didn't use gay as an insult so much

or when music was actually music and not just computer noises.

The world is loving going to hell.

Pessimism, FTW.

starfish, get with the times and quit reminiscing.

I'm afraid of another "moronic doomsday prophecies" situation again. :X

It probably was already really stuffty, it's just far more obvious now that you're older.

I loved watching cartoons, I watched the old Mickey Mouse ones and I loved the Coyote and Roadrunner. I cracked up at those.

It would be interesting if somehow all technology was gone, what we would all do.

That would be correct. But people want quantity over quality more, pumping out stuff and dressing it up like a king so everyone will be thinking it's wonderful. People are too self-centered and idiotic to care. People lose empathy. I miss the old days, when times were simpler. Damn national socialists.

I miss "I Love Lucy" :c

oh god I could watch those today and still laugh.
Is it me or is there more advertising now too?

No stuff, especially TV. I don't see the point in advertising seeing as how usually company's commercials suck ass, they don't have any aim or use for me, or I just tune them out and think thoughtlessly, not even caring what they're saying.

The only advertisements I actually found effective were three;

1) Panera Bread commercials; god damn, they make it sound so good.
2) BK Jr. Whopper commercials; mmm.
3) The Domino's large pizza carry out for five dollars. Super cheap, super yummy.

No wonder it's harder than ever to reach an advertising audience.

It's probably because we're growing up.

Buy stuff at walmart! You already shop here but still, buy more!

That too, dumbasses at places like Wal-Mart and McDonalds still advertise even though they're a couple of the largest companies. Hell, everyone goes there already, what's the point in advertising?

To make their biggest competitors- The Amish - Fall.

You guys have to admit that nintendo has been letting companies release absolute stuff on it's console lately.

Most TV stations, if not all, make money off of commercialism to keep shows on-air, and pay to make new shows, buy copyrights, or pay workers.
So commercials are like The US President- Vague and Useless A necessary evil.

I think the tv networks should charge more.
