Ass burgers for breakfast?

You know, there's such thing as intellectual property theft. And also, there's such thing as international private law.

Hey guys, I invented blockland.

Guys, let's all use GreenBH's av again!

:D

So what? I don't care.

Hey, idiot, I'd PM you, but I lost that privilege. So, I'm just going to post it here.

So, I read that you've been saving builds, editing them a little, and claiming them as yours. Guess what? That's stealing, bro.

steal (stl)
v. stole (stl), sto·len (stln), steal·ing, steals
v.tr.
1. To take (the property of another) without right or permission.
2. To present or use (someone else's words or ideas) as one's own.

That is, basically, what you are doing. Some one else put together that build, painted it, and showed it off to the community. You come along, see it, save it, think "Oh this would look cool (blah blah blah)," and then proceed to ruin the original creation. After that, you post the picture in the gallery and do not give any credit to the original creator(s). That is stealing!

And don't even bother to say that you live in the U.K. and you are above those laws. If you do, you are an idiot. As far as I know, the U.K. has the same general laws, and even though you will not be arrested, your parents will be and you will be put in some strange foster home.

Correct me if I'm wrong, some one else that is not GBH.

Yes, but you are using the wrong word cuz the other person still has the build and what it looks like. I diden't ruin it. I repainted it.

But you still took the build without permission, repainted it and then claimed it as yours. That is classed as stealing the build.

Can't edit so sorry for double post.

Plus, maybe you are confused with the diffrence between saving a word document and saving a puppy off a clock tower. OK, this is the saving were talking about now. You go on someone's server and you see, I dunno, a city. You press ESC and click Save bricks and you name it (Name)'s City. And the person who orginaly created it still has it. And then you load it in your server, and edit it. While the original creator still has it and hasn't been edited. So it dosen't do any harm. If you don't like the mansion, then look at something else. If you like it, then, I dunno, wait for the download to be released. Thing is, I got perma-banned for releasing the CityRP on RTB forums. So I don't know what to do. I can't attach it because it's too large.

[/facepalm]

Dude, it's not using the word wrong. You made a save of the build, edited it, and claimed it as your own. That is stealing. It may not be exactly breaking the law, but the community hates that here.

Wait... Now I know what you are thinking like.

Okay, here is what you are doing:
You are making a save of the build, editing it, and claiming it as your own. They may still have original save, but you are not giving them proper credit.
If you do not put:
"Thanks to:
[insert name here] for [insert reason here]"

You are taking their credit, and no they no longer have that in the community. That is wrong.
