They'll add another free-to-play multiplayer game version later apparently, ala Battlenet style. They're just waiting to see whether it'll make a big enough boom to warrant the bandwidth cost and the servers.

Nvm don't want it no more, some guy on the forums beat it in like 5 hours and it just doesn't appear to have re-playability, unless they get some gooood modders out there.

This game is pretty loving win.  It's way too easy though, you have to play it on hard just to have some semblance of a challenge.

I don't really trust that notion since I recall the same story for Hellgate London and we all know how that turned out. All I know is this game, Torchlight, owns pretty loving hard for a 20 dollar game and that' all that really matters.

Funny part is the MMO they are making of it is gonna be free with cash shop, you don't even need the single player game to play it.

it's really fun at first... but then gets repetitive. it's also short and really easy. the spell tree is also really stupid.

it is very similar to diablo though. it just needs more classes... i noticed they combined some of them.

sorc and necro for the alchemist or whatever
then zon and sin for the vanquisher
the other dude seems to just be a barb though... idk.

the soundtrack for torchlight was done by the diablo dude, though. it's basically the exact same stuff. haha.
